Vintage embroideries

I bought some lovely sets of vintage embroideries today from my local charity shop. These place settings are my favourite, they are all so beautifully made, it would be a shame to put them in a drawer with the rest of my embroidery stash. I might try and frame them...

I used to make clutch bags out of tray cloths like these. I think its high time I made some more, the problem is they are so lovely I never want to get them dirty by taking them out on a night out.
