I was lucky enough to be asked by The Exploratorium in San Francisco to produce some embroidery kits for their Open Make workshops. I designed a trio of little circuit characters which Luigi Anzivino and his wife made up to hang beside images of my other embroidered art works. The workshop included lots of other fun activities such as Circuit necklaces and electronic badges. It looks like so much fun- I wish I could of gone myself!
I'm so pleased with how the templates turned out, I've been wanting to try some kits for a while. Its great to see how other people can adapt your designs and add their own finishing touches. Its made me want to make some more, so keep an eye out for them on the I like birds stall! You can see close ups of the little circuit characters below...
